What is the bigger challenge in feeding the hungry; lack of money or lack of food ? Neither. The real challenge is making food consistently available to everyone who needs it.
The Lalit Jaipur, as a part of Lalit Suri Hospitality Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative has joined hands with ‘Robin Hood Army’ to feed the hungry by distributing the un-served food to the underprivileged.
Five facts to know about this wonderful cause
1. It all started on the occasion of World Hunger Day – May 28, 2017, the Group joins hands with Robin Hood Army.
2. Robin Hood Army is a volunteer organisation that provides food to the underprivileged.
3.This tie up will help the lesser fortunate people like those from homeless families, night shelters, orphanages etc.
4. The association with Robin Hood Army was initiated by Executive Director of the Group, Mr Keshav Suri.
“It is our constant effort to give back something to the society. Poverty and hunger are two major issues plaguing our society. Through this tie-up we want to move a step forward to help in eradicating hunger,” he says.
5. The Group has its presence across twelve locations across India and all The Lalit Hotels, Resorts and Palaces will participate with the Robin Hood Army to eliminate hunger and food wastage in those locations.
